The Motorola Droid X from Verizon Wireless ($199 with 2-year activation), released on July 15, 2010, is Motorola's second entry into the Droid line of phones. Offering a gorgeous 4.3” 240 DPI touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera, sleek hardware design, and long battery life, the Droid X blows the competition away in terms of design and performance.

Large Touchscreen

Arguably the most impressive feature of the Droid X, the bright 4.3” 854 x 480 pixel FWVGA 240 dots per inch touchscreen delivers impressive graphics and great touch responsiveness. High definition videos from YouTube and Blockbuster come through crisp and clear; not a moment of the action is missed and no detail is lost on the X's massive screen.

The touch response of this incarnation of the Droid also seems to have improved since the release of earlier models; pressing small buttons or icons used to be a difficult, hit-or-miss action on the Droid and Droid Incredible, but the accuracy of the X's touchscreen is impressive.
